About the Author

Derek Peddle was born in Whitbourne, Newfoundland and now resides in Conception Bay South with his wife and two children.

Derek is a self-taught artist who has been painting and drawing all his life. His love for writing and illustrating combined with being a dad was great inspiration for Under My Pillow book.

Derek is co-owner of Vivid Communications Inc. - an advertising agency in St. John's, Newfoundland. As Creative Director, Derek is responsible for all the wacky, wonderful design work produced at Vivid.
